Route feature:
  This trip is almost covered all highlights in eastern tibet. Starting from cultural touring of Lhasa that includes Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, monasteries Sera and Drepung. Then heading all the way to eastern, En route visit the gorgeous alpine lake of Draksum-tso, Lunang forests, have a good view of Namche Barwa and Gyala Pelri in a clear day, visit Rawok-tso nearby Pomi, drive up to Pasho along the Parlung Tsang River, pass the plateau pasture at Pomda, arrival at Chamdo, do pilgrimage circumambulation at Galden Jampaling Monastery, visit the amazing Riwoche Tsuglhakhang, pass by the grasslands of northern Tibet from Sok to Nagchu, have a glimps at Namtso Lake at Largen-La. End the tour in Lhasa.

The tour itinerary:
Day01 Chengdu/Beijing/Shanghai/Xian/Chongqin/Kunming flight to Lhasa
  Lhasa airport picking up, have a good rest in the afternoon. Overnight at Lhasa.
 
Day02 Lhasa sightseeing
  Visit Potola Palace, Johkang temple, and Barkor Market. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day03 Lhasa sightseeing
  Visit Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, overnight at Lhasa.
 
Day04  Lhasa/ Draksum Tso / Bayi (400kM)
  After breakfast, drive from Lhasa to Nyingchi. On the way you will cross over Mila Pass, enjoy the scenery along the Niyang River. Afternoon drive to visit Draksum Tso, also known as Basum-Tso. The lake and its surrounding views are beautiful and the site is also connected to the semi-mythical ruler of the Kham region and Guru Rinpoche. Take a ferry ride off the southern shore of the lake to visit the Tsodzong Monatery, most probably the highest attraction of this site. Overnight in Bayi.
 
Day05 Bayi / Lamaling Monastery/ Cypresses Park
 Drive to visit an ancient Gelug Monastery-Buchu, that lies only 18 miles south of Bayi. If the heavy rain has not damaged the road, visit the Lamaling Monastery nearby. Afternoon visit the nature reserve with 2500-year old cypresses in Bayi. Overnight at Bayi town.

Day06 Bayi / Lunang Forest / Pomi (220Km)
  Drive from Baiyi to Pomi, On the way you will pass the Serkhym-la over 4500m,  have a good views of Namche Barwa and Gyala Pelri. After the Serkhym-la the road descends past gorgeous alpine vallerys lined with rhododendron bushes into the Rong-chu valley, that is the Lunang forest.  Overnight at Pomi.

Day07 Pomi /  Rawok-tso / Pasho (219Km)
  The way from Pomi to Pasho, you will visit the beautiful lake Rawok-tso, see glaciers, snow-capped mountains, forests, local villages. Overnight at Pasho. ( Local guest house)

Day08 Pasho / Pomda grasslands/ Chamdo (270KM)
  From Pasho the road east passes picturesque villages and chortens, crosses the Ngul-chu and then starts a series of 72 switchbacks up to Zar Gama-la ( 4618m), marking the highest single altitude gain of any motorable pass in Tibet. After the pass a while, cross Pomda glorious grassy plain, arrives at Chamdo. Overnight at Chamdo.
 
Day09 Chamdo / Jampaling Monastery / Riwoche(105km, 5-6hours)
   Chamdo is the major transport, administrative and trade centre of the Kham region. In the morning visit Jampaling Monastery on the hilltop, do pilgrimage circumambulation. Then drive to Riwoche. Overnight at Riwoche.

Day10 Riwoche / Riwoche Monastery / Tengchen (150KM,6-7hours)
  Morning drive to visit Riwoche Monastery Tsuglhakhang, then start driving to Tengchen, visit Zhizhu Monastery, considered to be Tibet's largest Bon Monastery. This part road from Riwoche to Tengchen is very narrow, better no stop on the way. Overnight at Tengchen.

Day11 Tengchen /Sok (306km)
  Today you will see the fabulous views of nomad camps and yak herds made tiny by the huge range of snowy peaks to the south, cross the stunning Shel-la(4830m) pass, probably you will have a chance to visit the impressive Sok Tsanden Monastery, the miniature Potala. Overnight at Sok.

Day12 Sok / Nagchu (238km)
  Today you will be well and truly in the grasslands of northern Tibetan. on the way you will pass several small villages, nomad tents. Overnight at Nagchu.

Day13 Nagchu / Namtso Lake (210km)
  Take the Qinghai-Tibet Hway to arrive at Damxung, then pass the Largen-La, arrives at one of the three holy lakes in Tibet - Namtso. You can do a bit walking at Namtso Lake side. Overnight at Tent guesthouse.

Day14 Namtso / Yangbachen hot-spring / Lhasa ( 190Km)
  After a bit walking at Namtso, start driving back to Lhasa, on the way go to Yangbachen have a hot-spring, wash over all dust after a long jounery. Overnight at Lhasa.
 
Day15 Lhasa airport dropping off, end the trip.
