Hunan aids Tibet in 224 projects |

April 4, a delegation from the TAR Government led by Champa Phuntsok, chairman of the TAR Government went to the Hunan Province for a six-day visit.
Zhang Chunxian, an official from the Hunan Government expressed his welcome to the coming TAR delegation and showed his further support for Tibet.
In 1994, Hunan has sent 175 aid Tibet cadres in 4 groups with 400 million yuan (about 50 million US dollars) special fund for 224 projects of infrastructure construction in Lhoka Prefecture of Tibet.
Zhou Qiang, nomarch as well as vice secretary of the Hunan Government said that the fifth group of aid Tibet cadres from Hunan Province would strengthen the fund support project and improve the technical aid in Tibet to promote the economic and trade cooperation between Hunan and Tibet.  |
