China Southern Airlines will resume direct flight from Guangzhou to Lhasa soon for passengers' convenience.
The company had suspended the direct flight at the end of 2006 due to low capacity in winter. The resumed outbound flight CZ3417 departs at 7:10 in Guangzhou and arrives in Lhasa at 12:20 on Mondays and Fridays while inbound flight CZ3418 departs at 13:10 from Lhasa and arrives in Guangzhou at 18:10. Airbus 319 is deployed for the route. The flight will increase to 3 flights a week from May and one flight per day during summer tourism midseason in July.
Alternatively, passengers can choose the flight transfered in Chongqing and a Boeing 757 air jet plane is deployed. For convenience, it's unnecessary to change flight in Chongqing and passengers can take the same flight to continue their journey, so as in return flight. The flight is operated once a day. |
