Farmers from Yasang Village of Nedong County in Lhoka, the cradle of farming culture in Tibet, are busy with spring plowing, photos from People Daily.
The spring plowing starts later in Tibet than inland and it would finish at the end of April or at the beginning of May with an expected crop area of 3.24 million mu spring plowing plants and 0.52 million mu winter planted crops. As expected, 2.63 million mu grains and 0.7 million economic crops will be planted in 2007.  |
