History-About Us
Established in 1985 with 25 rooms, the Potala Guest House has grown. It now boasts of over 60 rooms with facilities, prices and amenities to suit the diverse needs of our clientele. When Chiring Yangdon Nepali, its founder started out, she had but one goal in mind- to ensure that our guests are kept happy. It is the single-minded pursuance of this idea that has played a key role in helping establish Potala Guest House as a preferred place of stay among our patrons.

The Potala Guest House is ideally located at Thamel- often referred to as the ‘Transit-lounge’.
