雪灵芝是属于科蚤缀属多年生长的草本植物，生长在海拔4700-5500地带，整个植物体高仅4-5厘米，主根粗壮，下部支根坚韧，枝叶密集于下部，叶成针状线形，长1-2厘米，垫状体直径达到15-20厘米左右。花白色或粉红色，种子繁殖，属高等植物，含特殊的跗物质，全草药用。
雪灵芝的药用价值有详尽的文字记载“可治疗胃肠之溃疡、膨胀、癌瘤、瘰疬并能健胃助消”，“苦寒、清肺中之热、止咳、降血压、滋补；治肺炎、淋病、淋巴结核、子宫病…….”一千多年来，当地藏民的食疗习惯和雪灵芝密不可分。中国科学院成都生物研究所、华西医科大学、日本东邦大学参与研究的雪灵芝口服液彩国际领先的双超技术，1998年获卫生部批文，1999年列入国家火炬计划项目。
Xue Lingzhi(All-grass of Kansu Sandwort)
Herba Arenariae Kansuensis is a mat-like one among those that grows near the permanent line at the altitude of 4700—5500 meters on Tibetan highland. It is perennial herb belongs to Caryophyllaceae Arenaria. The whole plant of Herba Arenariae Kansuensis is about 4-5 cm high with a thick main root. Herba Areariae Kansuensis belongs to higher plants which contains special genes and canbe used medicinally as a whole. Tibetan medical Experts found Herba Arenariae Kansuensis in may ancient Tbetan formulae and classic medical books.
The XLZ Liqud is a new product jointly developed by Chengdu Biological institute of Chinese Academy of Science, West China Medical University and Japanese Yoho University. It has been approved by the Ministry of Health of P.R.C. and listed in 1999 National Torch Plan and manufactured by Double-Super Technology at the international level.
